Courses & Focused Workshops

To pursue its objectives the Statistical Modelling Society co-organizes Focused Workshops and supports Short Courses on topics relevant to statistical modelling.

The next event to be supported under this scheme is:

Past events that were organized with the support by the Statistical Modelling Society are

• Analytical methods for competing events, Barcelona, Spain, December 14-16, 2011 (Short course by A. Munoz)
• 2nd International BIO-SI Workshop on Statistical Modelling, Bruz (near Rennes), France, October 6-7, 2011.
• International Workshop on Spatio-Temporal Modelling (METMA3),
  Pamplona, Spain, September 27-29, 2006.
• Survival of the fittest. Workshop on Time to Event Analysis in Biostatistics, Economics, and Related Fields, Bielefeld, Germany, June 24-26, 2004.

Members of the Statistical Modelling Society who are interested in organising a Focused Workshop or a Short Course and plan to seek support by the Society should send an inquiry to secretary@statmod.org. Guidelines for the application for support of Focused Workshops or Short Courses can be found here.
