Student prize winners

From 2013, the SMS has awarded prizes for the best student paper, best student talk, and best student poster, at their annual IWSM conferences. Up to 2024, these were sponsored by the Toyota Motor Corporation. The prizes are awarded by the society at occasion of the conference dinner on the Thursday evening of the respective workshop, based on recommendations by a student prize committee which usually comprises members of the Scientific and Organizing Committees of the conference and the Editorial Board of Statistical Modelling.
